Volunteer in our shops

At the heart of the fundraising activities that enable us to provide excellent patient and family care to the people of Glasgow, lie our 17 Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice shops.

Our shops are supported three ways.

By generous donations, by the generous buying of items, and by the invaluable retail volunteers who give their time to assist the shop manager with the day to day running of the shop.

If you choose to join us as a retail volunteer you will gain a lot of valuable experience.

  • You will learn about customer service first hand and gain experience in working a till.
  • You will learn about stock, how to evaluate it, how to price it, how to display it, and how to sell it.
  • You will also learn about how to work as part of a team and understand the retail experience from start to finish.

Retail volunteers are highly regarded members of our team, and with 17 shops across Glasgow and Greater Glasgow we need great people to come and volunteer alongside us. So make a difference and volunteer today.

To apply for any volunteering role please email volunteering@ppwh.org.uk
