Lorraine McNeil - Domestic Assistant

Lorraine has worked in the Support Services Department for 10 years and is one of eight domestic staff within the team.

"My role is to ensure all areas of the Hospice are cleaned to a high standard for patients, families, visitors, volunteers and staff. Some of the areas of the Hospice that I am responsible for cleaning are the in-patient unit, day services, the café, dining room and offices.

"I often encounter patients and their families and I feel that providing a clean, safe comfortable environment for them is very important and rewarding, knowing I have made a difference in whatever way I can gives me a great sense of pride and job satisfaction."
