The Hospice Team
The Hospice operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, employs around 140 full-and part-time staff and involves nearly 600 people as volunteers. Our team is our greatest asset in providing consistently high standards of patient and family care.
Our Staff
We employ a wide variety of professionals including doctors, registered nurses, healthcare assistants, allied health professionals and a family support team all directly involved in the care of patients and their families. Behind the scenes, administrative and support staff keep the Hospice running smoothly, whether they are working in administration, fundraising, finance or in domestic and portering roles.

Our Volunteers
Supporting and enhancing the work of our staff we have nearly 600 individuals who help out as volunteers. Volunteers work in many different areas within the Hospice, in our shops and supporting our fundraising activities. We simply could not provide many of our services without this vital ingredient in our holistic approach to care.
