We need volunteers!
We are always looking for volunteers to take a regular shift in Hospice Shops. Do help us if you can!
The shops serve as a focus for volunteers, each requiring dozens of workers every week. This street level presence helps raise the profile of the Hospice right across Greater Glasgow.
Shop volunteers serve behind the counter as well as help behind-the-scenes with sorting and pricing donations. In our Pollokshaws Road shop, you might choose to work in the tearoom. Some shop volunteers also enjoy organising local fundraising events.
We normally ask you to work a three-hour shift (10am-1pm or 1-4pm) - as little or as often as you can.

Meet new people, some develop new skills - and know that what you are doing benefits others. You will receive our standard Hospice volunteer induction plus job-specific training as required.
