Charity of the Year
"This lady's husband had spent a time in the Hospice and it had been such a positive experience for them both. So our Regional Director Garry Johnstone and Office Manager Anne Marshall arranged a visit and they were very, very moved."
Maria McCann Publishing Co-ordinator, BT
We were delighted that BT chose the Hospice as their Charity of the Year.
Benefits Naming the Hospice as your Charity of the Year will make a real difference to the care of terminally ill patients and their families in Glasgow. It's also a great way to get everyone working together towards a single objective.
If you're constantly bombarded with requests, this is a very focused form of corporate giving. You'll have a dedicated fundraiser to help you develop a tailor-made programme. of activities to support the Hospice.
Other benefits? We'll develop a wide range of activities that staff can get involved with and work on together. We will help you create a campaign to suit your business objectives and demonstrate community responsibility while raising money for our work.
We'll be delighted to make a presentation to your staff on why they should support us - we can also bring groups to see round the Hospice. That way they'll know exactly where the money is going and why.
In the past few years, we've been Charity of the Year for organisations as diverse as Glasgow City Council Land Services, Rangers Charitable Foundation, AXA Insurance, Tesco, St Enoch Shopping Centre and News International.
Our current Charities of the Year are:
