Recycling: you can make a difference

Each year in the UK two million printer cartridges are thrown away and 15 million mobiles are left sitting at the back of a drawer ... what a waste!

Recycling printer cartridges and old mobile phones helps in two ways:
  • Your unwanted items are put back in circulation instead of being dumped in a  landfill.
  • The Hospice makes a tidy sum by turning them in for recycling.

We made over £3,000 last year by recycling out-of-date mobile phones and used cartridges from printers, photocopiers and fax machines - over £17,000 since we started our recycling programme.  And it's growing every day.

All you have to do is turn your cast-offs in at 71 Carlton Place or your local Hospice Shop.  And make sure your boss knows about company recycling.

Jewellery too!
We take odd earrings & cuff links, broken watches, snapped chains, awful mistakes and any other bits & pieces of jewellery that you will never, ever wear and turn them into cash for the Hospice.  Gold, silver or platinum preferred, but we'll take your gems as well!
