Join Glasgow's first ever Midnight Walk. We are planning a fabulous night, with a variety of things happening prior to the walk and along the route to make it a magical experience that will light up this part of the city. You can choose to walk either 5k or 10k along the Clydeside crossing 6 of Glasgow's famous bridges and passing the Hospice along the way. Both distances start and finish at the SECC Glasgow and follow a well lit and safe route. This event promises to be a thoroughly rewarding and fun challenge.
Going that extra mile for Glasgow's Hospice.....
People will be walking as individuals or along side friends, family or work colleagues. Everyone will be walking to raise much needed funds for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. The sponsorship money that you raise by taking part in the Glasgow Midnight Walk challenge will enable the Hospice to help terminally-ill patients face their own personal challenges and make the most of the time they have remaining.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Places are limited and entries are strictly processed in the order we receive them.
One form must be filled in for each person. Please complete the ENTIRE process for EACH walker, including individual payment. Please ensure that you complete ALL fields as we need these details to process your registration.
Fees: The registration fee is £20 per walker for all entries. Tuesday 11th May 2010 is the closing date for all registrations. Registration fees are non-refundable. Register online before March 31st and save the £1.40 online registration fee.
We have not set a minimum sponsorship amount that you need to raise but we do ask that you raise as much as you can for The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice! The sponsorship money that you raise by taking part in our Midnight Walk challenge will enable us to help terminally-ill patients face their own personal challenges and make the most of the time they have remaining. The success of this Hospice fundraising event is down to you and your fundraising efforts. Every penny you raise helps! Please hand in your sponsorship monies to the Hospice within 6 weeks following the event, by Monday 28th June 2010.
On registration participants will receive a sponsorship pack containing sponsor forms and fundraising advice and support. At the event all walkers will receive a t-shirt to wear and also a medal upon completion of the route.
Please make sure that you give us an emergency contact that could be contacted on the evening. This should be someone who is NOT taking part.
Please be prepared for all changes in the Scottish weather and feel free to dress bright and fun, the more colours of the rainbow the better!
After registering, if at a later date you are unable to walk you must inform us as soon as possible.
Participants must be over 16 years of age.
