Liuda, who has been attending the Hospice art project for 18 months titled this painting 'Kingfisher in the Winter'. The programme of art and creative writing workshops provides invaluable opportunities for respite and relaxation, the chance to learn new skills, and sees the creation of important visual and written legacies. Participants note considerable benefits to self-esteem and a sense of achievement, negating physical and communication limitations.
