Five Ferries Challenge 2012

09 Jun 2012

Four cyclists in front of a ferry

It's time to get on your bike for the Hospice and enjoy some of Scotland's finest scenery as you do so! Our Five Ferries Challenge consists of 5 ferry trips interspersed with 4 cycling legs.

The route will take you through 51 miles of breathtaking Argyll countryside across islands, sea and mountains mainly on quiet and single track roads.

Last year's cyclists at the finish line

The "challenge" in "Five Ferry Challenge" is not only about the cycling, but also making sure you don't miss the ferry at each stage. This is not for the novice cyclist - it can be strenuous and there are a few hilly sections, however, we are on hand with advice on training and preparation.

By entering this challenge, each cyclist will be agreeing to raise a minimum of £200 sponsorship money for Glasgow's Hospice.
