Midnight Walk 2011
21 May 2011

Over 500 Hospice supporters really lit up the Clydeside on our 2nd annual Midnight Walk! With help from our host, Clyde 1's Romeo, the walkers created an amazing party atmosphere, which started with registration and a Zumba dance warm up at the SECC.

The carnival continued as participants made their way around the 5k or 10k route which took in some of Glasgow's best known bridges as well as passing the Hospice on Carlton Place, which was especially lit up for the occassion with rainbow colours.
Many walkers chose to take part in fancy dress with glittering angels, a wedding party, neon tutus, dalmations and Alice in Wonderland in the mix alongside the cosy pyjamas.

With sponsorship money still coming in, we're awaiting the final fundraising total and we'll let you know as soon as we have it, but meantime. we'd like to take the chance to say a huge thank you to all those who walked on the evening, our volunteers on the night and our event partners, Brookfield Multiplex, Glasgow City Council, SECC and the Evening Times.
