Girls Up Town 2012
24 Aug 2012
The terrific Cheri Treiffel hosted a night of sass and shimmer at our eighth annual Girls Up Town event at the Hilton Glasgow, which raised over £45,000 for the Hospice!
More than 600 ladies dressed up to the nines before enjoying some fantastic food, cocktails and some fabulous performances.
The Burlesque themed evening offered a variety of extravagant entertainment from 'Club Noir', the world's biggest burlesque club, which originated in Glasgow.
This was followed up by the brilliant Edward Reid from Britain's Got Talent, who had the dance floor packed from the start of his set to his encore.
The huge variety of other acts included Luke Amour, Twinset & Twirls and Camp America to name only a few! The infamous butlers in the buff from 'Man Candy' were also on hand to titillate palates with a host of heavenly cocktails.

Thank you to Frances McMeeking, Laurie Nicol and Lorna McGowan for organising the evening and to all those who came along and gave so generously!
Next year's Girls Up Town takes place on Friday 23rd August. If you'd like to be placed on the mailing list please email ashley.kilgour@ppwh.org.uk
