A Diamond of a Fundraiser

Originally intended as a one-off fundraiser for the Hospice in 2007, the Diamond Ball has become so popular that organisers AnnMarie, Claire and Mandy now run it annually. Thanks to their passion and energy it's going from strength to strength and this year's event was the biggest yet.
The theme was the Oscars and guests were asked to 'Geez a thrill, dress to kill', which they certainly did - looking dazzling and every bit the part.
After the champagne reception, they were treated to an evening packed to the brim with a huge variety of different entertainment, including Irish bingo and a hilarious game of heads and tails. With literally hundreds of prizes on offer, everyone appeared to be a winner.
Some crowd-pleasers from the DJ then managed to get everybody up on the dancefloor, where they partied away for the rest of the night.
We'd like to extend our grateful thanks to the girls and all those who supported or attended the event, which raised over £2,500 for the Hospice.
