Guests at this year's Business Lunch, hosted by Alison Walker, were joined by Sir Craig Reedie, Vice President of the British Olympic Association.
Having led the 2012 London Olympic bid, Reedie was well-placed to share his views on the 2014 Commonwealth Games with over 220 guests at the Glasgow City Chambers.
In addition to leaving a 'physical legacy without price', he believes the games will enthuse a generation to participate in sport and encourage a culture of volunteering in the city.
In his closing remarks, he added:
"Daily victories are delivered by those who care for others and those are worth more than any gold medal."
The event raised over £10,000 for the Hospice and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in reaching this tremendous total!
