Allianz First Anniversary

Staff at Allianz Insurance in Glasgow gave the Hospice a great reason to celebrate our partnership's first anniversary when they presented us with a cheque for £1,000 as an anniversary gift.
The partnership, which is part of a national nomination through Help the Hospices, has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months with staff getting involved in supporting the Hospice in a real variety of ways.
They've been a busy bunch too! Participation in the Great Scottish Run, London Marathon and Midnight Walk, attendance at our Prestwick Golf and Girls Up Town events along with various employee fundraising activities have contributed to the Glasgow office raising a fantastic £6,000 since June 2009.
In addition to fundraising, Allianz staff have also given up their time to provide much appreciated assistance with our Christmas collections and at a number of fundraising events.
Allianz's community affairs team commented:
"We are really pleased with the way that our partnership is developing and as we move into our second year of our relationship we will be working with Help the Hospices to further develop our relationships with local Hospices."
We're absolutely delighted with all the hard work that the Allianz team have put in and would like to extend a big thank you to all those involved. We're very much looking forward to a equally successful second year of our partnership.
