Give As You Earn

Give As You Earn (GAYE) is a really easy way to donate to the Hospice and it costs you less to give us more!

How it works

Each time you are paid, a donation is deducted by your payroll department before tax is calculated. This means that you will not have to pay the income tax normally due to the Inland Revenue.

In practice this means the donation is boosted by at least 25%. And, so, if you choose to give £2 a month, the Hospice will receive £2.50. You can chose how much to give from your salary each payday.

Does my employer offer this scheme?
Ask your employer's payroll department if they offer GAYE. If they don't, suggest that they start one - it is easy and inexpensive to run. Please let us know if you require help on starting a GAYE scheme.
