In the Hospital

Our palliative care consultants work jointly with teams from the Victoria Infirmary and Southern General Hospitals to provide specialist palliative care to in-patients.

We work with patients who are referred via consultants or nursing teams and can be seen in either a ward or out-patient setting. This is in conjunction with our community services and ensures that patients and families are supported through challenging times wherever they are receiving care.

The Hospice also provides a 24 hour helpline (0141 420 6785) to enable hospital doctors, ward staff and other frontline healthcare professionals to access advice and support on patient care whenever it is required.
