Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy
Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy aims to improve the quality of our patient's lives by helping them maintain their independence, gain relief from pain and perform day to day activities which their illness may have made difficult or impossible. Our team can help patients identify realistic goals and will work to achieve them.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy aims to assist mobility, pain relief and help patients maintain independence. Our physiotherapist works with each patient to provide a specific individualised programme which may include working on mobility of joints and muscles, use of heat therapy, acupunture, relaxation and breathing control or mobility aids.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy assists patients to maintain their independence in daily living activities and retain choice and control in what they do with their time. This may involve providing equipment and adaptions for the home, looking at alternative approaches to regular activities and discussing ways of managing activities to conserve energy. The Hospice Day Service has a purpose built kitchen which allows us to assess and assist patients in an environment that's just like home.
