In-Patient Unit
Patients who have complex needs that can be addressed by the multidisciplinary Hospice team are admitted to the in-patient unit for assessment and provision of care.

Depending on their needs, some patients come for a few days treatment for symptom control and then go home. Others may come for longer assessment and some come for the last days of their lives.
The in-patient unit consists of 14 beds with a mixture of single room and shared accommodation. There are also facilities for family and carers, including comfortable lounge areas and overnight facilities. We encourage families to visit the Hospice prior to a family member being admitted.
