Chaplaincy

The Hospice has a full time, non-denominational Chaplain who is part of the family support team, offering patients and families whatever support they feel appropriate during their time here. The role of the chaplain is to provide spiritual care and pastoral support to patients, their families and friends during and after their time at the Hospice.
This support is for everybody, not just those who have a particular faith and we seek to provide care, support, direction and guidance for all who ask for it.
Spiritual or religious leaders from patients' own communities are also very welcome to visit the Hospice and visits can be arranged on request. Provision is made for all groups to practice their faith while here at the Hospice.
